What is a Google video post ?
A Google video post is a publication on your Google business listing that includes a video, either in addition to or instead of an image and text, in order to better capture the attention of your visitors.
Technical requirements for publishing a Google video post
In order for your video to be accepted in a Google Post via Merchant, it must comply with the following requirements to ensure an optimal experience for your visitors :
- Maximum length : The video must not exceed 30 seconds. We even recommend aiming for a slightly shorter length (for example, 20 to 25 seconds).
- Minimum resolution: The video must have a minimum resolution of 720 pixels on at least one of the two dimensions of the image:
- either in width,
- or in height.
How to create a Google Video Post from Placeloop ?
- First, make sure you have connected your Google account to your Placeloop business account. This will allow you to take full advantage of the features offered.
- Next, go to your Placeloop establishment account, click on “Create a post” and select Google.
- Then click on “Add images and videos” and insert your video.
- Once you have completed these steps, you can click on “Publish” to share your post.
